Yes! I have absolutely nothing against acne medications if that is the best thing for you at this time. You will still get lots of benefits from addressing the dietary and lifestyle factors that trigger acne.

This is going to be different for everyone as no two people will have the exact same acne triggers. I have seen people who get benefit from lifestyle and diet changes within a couple of weeks, and then for others, it can take many months. For some people, there may be more support needed and in that case, I recommend working 1:1 with an acne practitioner (naturopathic doctor, medical doctor, nutritionist etc.) to create a plan unique to your needs.
